Song Learner Series – Worship Guitar

Three DVDs for acoustic guitarists called the “Song Learner Series”. They are available (now at HALF PRICE) from http://www.musicademy.com/store/uk/christian-guitar/existing-player/intermediate/christian-guitar-lessons.html. Also available in our online subscription site.

Each of the 2-hour DVDs contain six or seven 12-20 minute lessons teaching you to play a contemporary worship song. Each lesson will soon also be available as an individual paid for download.
Songs featured include Everlasting God, Beautiful One, The Father’s Song and Facedown as well as a number of challenging hymns – In Christ Alone and David Crowder’s beautiful arrangement of All Creatures of Our God and King.

The idea of the Song Learner Series is to enable you to master the guitar parts played on the original record, note for note, and as such significantly enhance your playing. In each lesson you will learn how to:
Master the right strumming pattern for the song
Find easy ways to play complex chords
Get the right rhythm and pacing
Learn the one finger “cheat” chords that the professionals use to make your playing sound smooth
Develop great finger picking
Plus hints, tops and techniques you can use in other songs

The Song Learner DVDs are presented by Andy Chamberlain who will be familiar to you from the Musicademy Worship Guitar Course DVDs.. Andy’s accessible teaching approach breaks each section of the song into bite-sized chunks, helps you play it through a few times and then bolts it together with the rest of the song, step-by-step so that you get each sequence into muscle memory. The Song Learner Series is designed to help you play more songs using the technical principles taught on the Musicademy Worship Guitar Course DVDs.
